Okay, so here is the result of my efforts on another Brightest Day page from issue 2. This time around I focused more on rendering through painting rather than cuts and grads; it provides a softer transition between values and, at least for me, seems to be more intuitive. I'm also making more of an effort to not be so locked into local color. Thanks to Scott Clark for the pencils, and Dave Beaty for the inks.
